A Good Old Catch-Up

I wish I could go back to this day all the time because it made me so happy.

So a few days after New Year, I finally made good on my months-long promise to go see Faith who lives an hour tops away from me in Zomba. I’ve had the pleasure of Faith’s friendship for over 13 years now, having met as little lost souls back in our boarding school days. As we’ve grown up (Faith doing so a lot more gracefully than I, of course), finding time to actually see each other becomes increasingly more complicated so it was definitely a wonderful thing to be able to sit down and have a good old catch-up.

We spent the afternoon chatting away while dining at Annie’s Lodge.

Here’s Faith making sure the camera only focuses on her.

Afterward, we wandered around Zomba Botanical Gardens, perusing and of course taking a thousand pictures seemingly with every couple of yards.

By the way, Faith is also a blogger plus a singer-songwriter extraordinaire. You should definitely check out her site.

It was lovely to spend time with her and such a great start to 2018. A mighty big thanks for Faith for having me. Let’s not wait so long to do this again boo.
